FITEC Programmes : Look back on the General Assembly on 9 April

The General Assembly of the FITEC programmes was held on Wednesday 9 April 2025 on the premises of the Chimie ParisTech - PSL school.
This day of exchange brought together all the institutional and academic partners involved in the development and implementation of these key cooperation programmes between France and Latin America. It was an opportunity to review the actions carried out in 2024, to share news and prospects for the ARFITEC and BRAFITEC programmes, and to identify ways of improving future editions.
Discussions focused in particular on student mobility, partnerships between institutions and joint degrees, as well as the issues of fundings and sustainability of projects. The discussions highlighted the richness and dynamism of these academic partnerships and the importance of continuing to develop them in a constantly changing international context.
The CDEFI would like to express its sincere thanks to all the participants for their presence and the quality of their contributions throughout the day. It would also like to thank the representatives of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, as well as the French diplomatic posts in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico, for their particularly constructive contributions.
Finally, the CDEFI warmly thanks Chimie ParisTech - PSL for hosting and supporting the organisation of this General Assembly. These opportunities for dialogue and consultation are essential to ensure that the FITEC programmes continue to serve and strengthen university cooperation.
